Carole Firstman, Shane Velez and Richard Margolis have been accepted to present a panel titled “Practicing Feminist Rhetoric: Three Experimental Writing Projects on Gender, Identity, and Representation” for the 2013 Feminisms and Rhetorics Conference, to be held at Stanford from September 25 to 28, 2013.
Also Michael Gray’s “I Was Born in My Mama’s Heart: An Experimental Exploration of Gender and Chinese Adoption,” has been accepted for presentation at the 2013 Feminisms and Rhetorics Conference as well.

Michael Gray has been accepted into the Raleigh Review Writers’ Studio Workshop where he will work with Dorianne Laux and Joseph Millar in Raleigh, NC, from May 5-6, 2012. Bravo!
Michael Gray’s poem, “Two Mycologists,” was selected by Susan Grimm as one of this year’s eight national winners of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs Intro Award in Poetry! The poem will appear in an upcoming issue of PUERTO DEL SOL. Congratulations, Michael!
